Strategic Doodling against Cancer with the American Cancer Society

There’s no question that the American Cancer Society has its work cut out for it. This organization tackles some of the most challenging issues in society like changing behaviors around smoking, encouraging early cancer screening and educating children on the risks of obesity. But juggling priorities and evaluating resources can be challenging even for experts. So they hired BrightSpot to design and co-lead their annual leadership session to help them think visually about their current initiatives and to innovate even greater possibilities for meeting their mission. Stacy Weitzner, BrightSpot’s main Gamestormer and strategic doodler extraordinaire, led the charge and the result was, dare we say, stellar. (Real quote from the Chief Mission Officer, Laurie Jensen-Wunde: “We love graphic facilitation!”) The group worked hard to visualize, evaluate and prioritize what matters the most for them, and we were thrilled to support what they do.
